DARJEELING

When To Go : October - January, mid- March to early June. Uncomfortably crowded in October during Durga Puja.

Getting There :
Bus services between Darjeeling and Siliguri are frequent. Private taxis, land rovers are also available. From Siliguri by bus/ taxi/ trekker to Darjeeling (80 km), about 4 hours.
By Rail : You can take the famous toy train, which is a meter gauge train operating over breath taking scenery. The journey takes approximately seven and half hours. Day 02 : Darjeeling Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Darjeeling city. Start with a visit to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and then proceed to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Get some thrill with Ropeway and also visit Tenzing, Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Peace Pagoda, Rock Garden and Gangamaya Park. Day 03 : Darjeeling Excursion
After a complete Darjeeling city tour, today we take you on an excursion to some of the major tourist places that are a must visit in Darjeeling tour packages. Bangalore – Coorg Tour
